The Nobivac Lyme dog vaccine is for vaccination of healthy dogs 8 weeks of age or older against Borrelia burgdorferi, which causes Lyme disease, and has also been shown to be effective against subclinical arthritis caused by Borrelia burgdorferi. Give 1 ml subcutaneous using 22 gauge or larger needle. The initial dose may be given at 8 weeks of age or older. Repeat dose two to four weeks later. Two doses are required for primary immunization with annual booster thereafter. Thimerosal free. Order syringes and needles separately.
